By far the best concert I have seen in years was "Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons" at Universal's Mardi Gras. The collection of songs just got better as the night went on and my parents were pleasantly surprised about how much fun I was having.
Leading up to the event, I thought, that it would be a bunch of old guys in walkers propped up next to a microphone. This was only partially true. The Four Seasons turn out to be like that Mexican boy band that Ricky Martin came from. When guy gets too old, they switch out with a handsome guy who can sing and dance. Maybe I'm a suck for cheap choreography, but wow! Those Four Seasons made the night.
Only once did I believe that Mr. Valli wasn't going to make it the whole show, but a wardrobe change fixed the problem. He even did a longer encore than 3 Doors Down last year. No one uses a live "orchestra" any more either. So for a performance quality I'm definitely giving it an A!
